The site is within the National Park
It is outside the settlement boundary. It is not in the present JUDP. It is on the peak of a ridge visible for miles around as it is on the skyline. If built the twenty five detached substantial dwellings will dominate the Coastal Path.
If granted this will establish a precedent, contrary to all PCNP guidelines. Objections to PCNPA quoting Site ref 703

Devon House Pembroke Plans
This is in a Conservation Area the mature trees will be destroyed by foundation work. They are the only remaining of many Evergreen Oaks at the Pondside.
The building proposed is too close to the pondside and will destroy one of the last wildlife nesting refuges.
This modern bungalow is completely out of place and will intrude on the visual aspect of the Mill Pond which is also an LNR.

Devon House Pembroke
This is a Conservation Area part of the setting for the Mill Bridge and the Castle.
To the right of the grossly out of scale, out of place, recent construction is a large "gentlemans residence"of some architectural merit, Devon House. It is surrounded by a mature garden with specimen trees. The wall to the pond is complete and there is a wild margin to the pond.
The Bungalw and hardstanding will cover the vegetated area, it will be built against the pond wall with no buffer strip and no screening from public view. A modern building of no merit except to make money for the developer.
We must rewrite the JUDP to take account of conservation, Conservation Areas and agree a Design Policy for PCC and PCNP.

Littlegates Footpath
UPDATE. Francis still blocks the footpath and calls the Police if anyone tries to use it. In the papers disclosed to the Inquiry is a notice that he has applied for Planning Permission to build on the ground in that area, there was no map produced.
A group, Sergeant Thomas, Nat Walton of the WWNT, John Hayes of C21 and the Footpath Officer PCC are holding a meeting to agree a compromise with Francis. They have no right to do so, we insist that the footpath as designated "to the water" by the Inspector after the Inquiry be enforced by PCC, nothing more nothing less.
We cannot tolerate a backdoor deal which loses our right to access the top pond. A land grab cannot be tolerated .
We have been TOLD not to use the footpath until a compromise can be agreed.

But lets the greater felon loose
Who steals the common from the goose

Golden Prison Pembroke
A historic site where the prisoners captured at the last invasion of the UK, by the French at Fishguard were kept. They escaped and stole a vessel belonging to the Earl of Cawdor and sailed to France. Before the Christmas break this was a walled orchard, the listed stone boundary wall is no more. The remaining stone wall opposite is the boundary of the Conservation area. Two blocks of three storey speculative flats will be built here. Another PCC masterpiece of stealth, how do neighbours find out that these applications are being processed once again ask for PCC Planning Department to be closed down until they behave in an open transparent manner following the letter and the practice of planning law. How do they explain the loss of yet another listed structure, they are disappearing daily. The masonary buried in the distance is the remains of the building which has not been recorded. Another example of the history of Wales obliterated by local greed and ignorance.
