The fish fry which cannot migrate to sea are trapped in Castle Pond.
Each day their numbers go down there are few left.
Those left are chased into the shallows by female Mallard and eaten!

When in 2014 the barrage was broken bass and mullet were able to spawn.A year later many thousands of bass and mullet fry are ready to go to sea but the barrage prevents this.
This photograph shows part of the 50 m shoal  trying a spring source which is not an exit to the sea.

 Days after the previous post the mowers came back and completed the destruction of the bluebells and Umbellifers before they were over.

Why do some people want to destroy what can be grown for free and enjoyed by all.
